The Second Bathroom: An Essay

The upstairs bathroom deserves its own essay. It was so exciting to rent an apartment with two bathrooms but the one upstairs is not quite what one would expect. 

First, you open the door from the loft and this is what you see:

A nice sink area but down three concrete stairs. If you walk down those stairs and turn left, you will find the bathtub in an alcove:

Now, you must go all the way back to the sink area, go up the stairs, look to the right and you'll see this:

That's 5 stairs, leading to this:

Finally, up just a few more stairs to this:

The bidet, of course.

And that's why there's two bathrooms in this apartment. The one on the first floor is just a regular, one room bathroom. This one needs a map to navigate.
